Personal Protective Equipment Cleaning, Inspection and Repair Services

The City of Pasadena is located in the northwestern portion of the San Gabriel Valley. Its Fire Department consists of eight strategically located stations that cover the City’s twenty-three square miles. In 2021, the Pasadena Fire Department (PFD) responded to 18,103 incidents, 3,432 of which were fire-related. Maintaining the PFD’s personnel protective equipment (PPE) is imperative for protecting firefighters from serious injuries while on the job. The PFD seeks proposals for services that would provide onsite PPE cleaning, inspecting, and repairs for all of Pasadena Fire Department Firefighter’s structural turnouts as well as documentation of care and maintenance. Services must be in full compliance with all applicable manufacturing, OSHA and NFPA regulations, standards, and recommendations.
