Disability Employment Service - Request for Information

Ministry of Social Development

Description

Since 2025, MSD has been undergoing a redesign of our current Disability Employment Services. This work has been informed by engagement with disabled people, providers, employers, and other stakeholders, including a series of service design engagements led by ThinkPlace in 2026. Before we go to market with a tender opportunity for delivery of the redesigned service, we are seeking information and feedback directly from service providers on: • The market: who you are, where you are, how do you see yourself approaching and operating the proposed service • Your perspective on the service redesign: the funding model, reporting requirements, interfacing with other services Your insights into all or any of the above elements will help MSD develop and coordinate a fair and robust procurement process for this contract opportunity and ensure we are establishing an effective and sustainable service for delivery. PLEASE NOTE: This RFI is not a tender process. Your response will not be considered as an application or proposal to deliver the service described, and no contracts will be awarded as an outcome of this process. Whether you respond to this RFI or not will have no influence on your involvement in future tender processes.
