(1) Vendor needs to provide high–priority transmission corridor study service to the government authority located in Washington. • Analysis and Report Development– The study must evaluate expanding capacity through the construction of new transmission lines, through improvements to existing transmission lines, and through connection to wholesale electricity markets.– Conduct a prioritization process to generate a recommended shortlist of the highest priority transmission corridors.• Project Coordination and Community Engagement– The contractor will design and implement, in coordination with Commerce, an open and transparent engagement process that enables tribes and interested parties, including but not limited to utilities, developers, and community members, to participate meaningfully in the development of the analysis.(2) A pre–bid conference will be held on September 3, 2026.
