ESTATE-12302 - USA (Chesterfield, Virginia) - Insurance Broker and Risk Management Consulting Services - Deadline November 16,2026

(1) Vendor needs to provide insurance broker and risk management consulting services to the government authority located in Chesterfield, VA.– Design and implement the broadest insurance program that adequately and financially protects the County’s assets and designated entities and individuals by identifying and analyzing all viable markets and risk financing alternatives for insurance and bonds.– Represent the County in all negotiations with insurers, arrange necessary meetings with underwriters, insurance regulatory authorities, and other parties where appropriate– Obtain insurance and related quotations from insurance carriers, following the County’s guidelines concerning insurance carrier financial stability and rating– Serve as a resource for information and negotiating with carriers on coverage issues, policy interpretation, claims issues, and other related issues.– Procure insurance policies, upon approval of the Director of Risk Management, for and/or on behalf of the County, whose cost will be reimbursed by the County.– Assist with risk–related issues in contractual agreements.– Provide Claim administration technical assistance as needed.– Prepare insurance certificates and endorsements to/for appropriate parties(2) All questions must be submitted no later than October 27, 2026.(3) The contract period will be for one year.
