Vendor needs to provide claims adjusting and processing services.• Contractor shall be able to process, adjust and handle claims services on behalf of agency.• Contractor shall handle claims on a full assignment or limited assignment basis.• The contractor shall be required to provide all materials and services necessary for the investigation, adjustment, and payment or denial of claims on behalf of agency, in accordance with provisions of applicable revised statutes, on an as needed, if needed basis.• Contractor shall provide services for either liability claims and the workers’ compensation claim services or both.• The contractor shall implement thorough security measures, procedures and controls to protect any blank check stock provided from unauthorized use or theft.• Claims adjusting and processing shall be provided on an as needed, if needed basis.• Identifying claims in litigation for prompt review, handling and reporting.• Processing claims and paying benefits in accordance with the workers’ compensation act and applicable rules, using claim processing practices recognized and approved within the workers’ compensation insurance industry and cost containment procedures and processes generally accepted in the workers’ compensation insurance industry.• Compensation of claims shall be made by commonly accepted method for transferring money by banking institutions including paper checks and electronic fund transfers.
