Uniforms - Operators

The Transit Authority of Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, herein referred to as Lextran is issuing this Request for Proposals (RFP) to award a competitive contract to a firm to provide uniforms for its bus operators and supervisors, as well as safety shoes and outerwear for its maintenance employees. Please note that all Lextran employees will have the option to buy their shoes through another source at their discretion and all Lextran Maintenance employees will have the option to buy their outerwear through another source at their discretion. Therefore, Lextran makes no guarantees as to the amount of shoes or outerwear to be purchased as a result of any contracts awarded as part of this procurement. All questions, requests for clarification or comments concerning this RFP are due from proposers by end of day on 'Question & Answer Submission Date . Lextran’s response to questions will be in the form of an Addenda. Lextran may reject any submissions that are incomplete or non-responsive or submitted after the deadline. Lextran reserves the right to cancel or reissue this RFP, or to reject, in whole or in part, any and all submissions received in response to this RFP should Lextran determine that the responses received are unsatisfactory or that such cancellation or rejection is in the best interest of Lextran. Lextran further reserves the right to waive any minor technical deficiency or irregularity in a submission package. The determination of the selection criteria and the process for evaluating the proposal shall be in the sole and absolute discretion of Lextran.
