(1) Vendor needs to provide food advisory services to the government authority located in Baldwinsville, NY. – Provide support for the implementation of enhancements to its child nutrition program to expand and enhance the current meal program while assisting with the food service department with its strategic plan to revert the agency child nutrition program to scratch cooking. • Program assessment:– Review current menu, recipes, and farm to grant initiatives• Menu development and meal production methods:– Assist in the development of 15–20 new scratch cooked recipes, that are culturally relevant for our diverse student population, including plant forward recipes.– Assess and train Food Service staff on how to implement a meal production operation at the central kitchen to support scratch cooking.– Ensure meals transport and have high quality presentation at receiving sites.– Enhance current menu options with scratch cooking techniques.• Staff training and standard operating procedures:– Provide hands–on training to food service staff on new kitchen skills and how to prepare new scratch recipes.– Review and provide training on efficiency of workflow, food safety, ergonomic factors should also be included.– Develop and document new standard operating procedures.• Equipment assessment:– Review of existing equipment at the central kitchen and receiving sites.– Provide a recommendation for what, if any, equipment is needed to implement new meal production methods.(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than July 7, 2026.
