Mobile LiDAR Asset Data Collection and Identification Project

The Land Use and Transportation Department of Washington County, Oregon (DLUT) is requesting sealed proposals from qualified firms to capture geo-referenced digital images and light detection and ranging (LiDAR) data within the County limits and process a portion of the data to obtain roadway assets and attributes. The selected contractor will drive and collect roadway data located on, along, and over Washington County’s roadways and deliver attributed spatial asset data (LiDAR and imagery data) to Washington County in a non-proprietary standard data format, meeting the specifications of this RFP. The selected contractor will use the roadway imagery and LiDAR data to extract a complete inventory of signs, pavement markings, pavement striping, curbs, ditches, guardrails, sidewalks, medians, luminaries, and curb ramps for the purpose of creating a geographic information system (GIS) inventory compatible with Washington County’s Enterprise GIS Database Schema and Washington County’s future enterprise asset management (EAM) system.
