STAFF-16311 - USA (Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania) - Occupational Therapist Services - Deadline July 15,2026

(1) Vendor needs to provide occupational therapist services to the government authority located in Punxsutawney, PA.• This will be a preventative program to assist and support students with at–risk fine motor and sensory issues• The therapist and or assistant will develop interventions and work with at–risk students in the regular education classroom setting• This position will be full time (7.5 hrs/day) for 180 school days for the 2026/2027 school year, the position requires an occupational therapist or a certified occupational therapy assistant• This individual will be responsible for collaboration with Kindergarten staff and administration.• Identification of at–risk students, development and implementation of interventions and progress monitoring on those interventions.• Participate in phone calls/conference /team meetings with families, outside agencies and school district representatives to address the unique needs of the individual student, as directed by school personnel• Consult as needed, with regular and special education teachers, and other school personnel, to coordinate the student’s behavioral and emotional needs as it pertains to their positive school experience• Provide consultation services for students experiencing lack of success in school due to behavioral, social and emotional barriers• Engage students in school related activities/tasks to access barriers to academic success and assist with providing teachers and school personnel with any feedback related to increasing school success• Participate in meetings as required by school personnel(2) The contract period will be for one year.
