(1) Vendor needs to provide comprehensive technology transfer advisory and operational support services to the government authority located in Columbia, SC.– Technology Commercial Assessment• Evaluate selected technologies to determine their potential for commercialization; assessments shall include review of the technology, identification of potential applications and markets, evaluation of competing technologies, assessment of potential competitive advantages, and recommendations regarding intellectual property protection and commercialization strategy– Technology Marketing Materials• Develop non confidential marketing materials describing University technologies in a manner appropriate for communication with potential industry partners• Marketing materials shall summarize the technology, the problem addressed, potential applications, competitive advantages, intellectual property status, and opportunities for licensing or collaboration– Technology marketing and partner identification• assist the University in identifying and engaging potential commercial partners interested in licensing or further developing University technologies• Services may include development of marketing plans, identification of potential licensing partners, targeted outreach to industry organizations, and facilitation of introductions between university representatives and interested companies– Technology Transfer Operations Support• Provide advisory support related to operational practices within the technology transfer office; services may include evaluation of existing workflows, recommendations regarding process improvements, and assistance in implementing best practices related to intellectual property management and commercialization(2) All question must be submitted no later than August 27, 2026.
