NIST is conducting market research to identify potential sources that can provide Laser Tracker Metrology Systems that meet all technical specifications identified in this notice.This notice is strictly to request information for market research purposes to help NIST determine the appropriate acquisition strategy for this requirement. This notice shall not be construed as a solicitation, an obligation, or commitment by NIST.OVERVIEWThe NIST Engineering Laboratory Intelligent Systems Division`s Cognition and Collaboration Systems Group is supporting the Manufacturing AI Accelerator Team in developing, validating, and demonstrating AI–enabled robotic assembly solutions for manufacturing.NIST requires one (1) laser tracker metrology system, including hardware, software, accessories, calibration certificate, and warranty. The delivered system shall include everything necessary for immediate operation in a laboratory environment.Line Item 0001:Description: Laser Tracker Metrology System (One)The Contractor must provide one (1) portable laser tracker system capable of high–accuracy coordinate measurement to support high–accuracy dimensional inspection, equipment alignment, manufacturing calibration, assembly.
