Description
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the CITY OF TUSTIN, hereinafter referred to as City or AGENCY invites sealed bids for the above stated project and will receive sealed bids for the construction, materials, supplies, equipment and/or services set forth herein, subject to all conditions outlined in the Bid Package. Scope of Work: The Work encompassed by the Project is more specifically defined in the Contract Documents, but in general consists of, but is not limited to the following Work: Main Street Well #3: Perform pre-removal testing and document existing pump and motor operating conditions. Remove, transport, inspect, test, and evaluate the existing pump and motor; submit condition-assessment reports. Perform downhole video inspection and submit well-condition assessment report. Convert the existing oil-lubricated lineshaft system to a continuous water-lubricated configuration, where indicated and authorized. Perform brushing, bailing, chemical treatment, dual-swab airlifting, redevelopment, and related well rehabilitation only when authorized by the City based on inspection results. Rehabilitate, rewind, reinstall, or replace the existing pump and/or motor as authorized by the City. Reinstall the approved rehabilitated or replacement pump and motor and provide a complete operational pumping system. Perform startup, performance, vibration, electrical, operational testing, flushing, disinfection, and post-rehabilitation inspection where required. Restore disturbed areas and complete closeout requirements. Newport Well #3: Perform pre-removal testing and document existing pump and motor operating conditions. Remove, transport, inspect, test, and evaluate the existing pump and motor; submit condition-assessment reports. Perform downhole video inspection and noninvasive electromagnetic casing-thickness/integrity analysis; submit well-condition assessment report. Because Newport Well No. 3 is considered fragile, perform well cleaning, redevelopment, casing repair, or other downhole rehabilitation only when specifically authorized by the City. Rehabilitate, rewind, reinstall, or replace the existing pump and/or motor as authorized by the City. Install new magnetic flow meter and MOV on the waste-discharge piping. Remove and replace the existing magnetic flow meter and MOV on the system-discharge piping. Remove existing electrical equipment as needed and furnish/install new electrical, controls, instrumentation, PLC, and SCADA work where required. Reinstall the approved rehabilitated or replacement pump and motor and provide a complete operational pumping system. Perform startup, performance, vibration, electrical, operational testing, flushing, disinfection, meter/MOV testing, and post-work inspection where required. Restore disturbed areas and complete closeout requirements.
