Vendor needs to provide nature–based solutions evaluation consulting services to the government authority located in Searsport, ME.– Consulting services to assist the community with an evaluation of nature–based solutions for shoreline stability of three parcels of land containing critical town infrastructure.– Improve climate resilience by creating a plan to stabilize shoreline along parcels with critical town infrastructure that have previously sustained damage from extreme storm events or that are vulnerable to future damage.– Data gathering and existing conditions documentation.– Analyze current and future risks to each site using field observations and available datasets, including flood maps and sea level rise and storm surge projections.– Prepare planning–level cost estimates including permitting, installation, and ongoing maintenance costs.– Community engagement effort to ensure that community members understand the benefits and appropriate uses of nature–based shoreline stabilization.– Outreach strategy and materials for engaging shoreline homeowners.– One–page factsheet on nature–based shoreline stabilization techniques, tailored for property owners.
