(1) Vendor needs to provide legal services to the government authority located in Vineland, NJ.– Legal counsel in court proceedings and litigation; Preparation of legal documents such as contracts, leases, petitions, depositions, answers, and motions; advise managerial staff on matters pertaining to legal rights, obligations, and other phases of law.– Serve as legal counsel to the board of commissioners on matters relating to board governance, fiduciary responsibilities, statutory authority, ethics, and compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.– Advise the board regarding compliance with the new jersey local government ethics law, conflicts of interest, disclosure requirements, ethics opinions, and other governance–related legal matters.– Prepare, review, or provide legal review of board resolutions, governance policies, bylaws, committee charters, procedural rules, and other governance–related documents as requested by the board.– Advise the board regarding commissioner appointments, officer elections, committee appointments, board procedures, governance best practices, and interpretation of the authority's bylaws.– Provide legal guidance to the board regarding adoption, amendment, and interpretation of board policies and governance procedures.– Provide legal advice regarding compliance with the authority's bylaws, resolutions, governance policies, and other board–adopted governing documents.(2) All questions must be submitted no later than October 30,2026.(3) The contract period will be for one year.
