Description
The City of Pasadena Department of Transportation’s Parking Division is seeking the services of a qualified contractor by requesting proposals from highly qualified and experienced vendors with the capacity, capability, responsibility, experience, and accountability to provide security and safety services to address the City’s parking facilities’ security, crime prevention, customer service, and safety needs in eight (8) public parking facilities. It is the intent of the City to enter into a management agreement with a security provider that can demonstrate the ability and willingness to partner with the City in all aspects of security operations, crime prevention, professionalism, and exemplary customer service. The contract between the City and the Contractor is intended to commence within six months of publishing this RFP, provided it has been approved by the City Council. The selected Contractor is expected to work closely with City staff and report directly to the City. In addition, the Contractor shall partner with the City's contracted parking facility operator to mitigate safety related concerns.
