DISPOS-9229 - USA (Cedar Rapids, Iowa) - Lime Sludge Excavation, Hauling and Disposal Services - Deadline June 23,2026

(1) Vendor needs to provide lime sludge excavation, hauling and disposal services to the government authority located in Cedar Rapids, IA.– There are approximately 50,000 tons of lime sludge annually to be removed from the dewatering lagoons. For illustration purposes, the estimated depth of the lime sludge in a Lagoon is 4.25 feet. There is no sludge at the southern edge of the lagoon and approximately 8.5 feet at the deepest northern edge. This is only an estimate of the quantity of sludge; actual quantities shall be the basis for payment. The City makes no guarantee regarding the actual quantity present.– Provide and maintain vehicle or loader mounted scale, submitting to City staff current calibration data.– Payment shall be made at the unit rate based on acceptable weigh tickets. All weigh tickets must be submitted with Contractor’s invoices. No payment will be made for loads without an accompanying weigh ticket. (2) All question must be submitted no later than June 16, 2026.
