(1) Vendor needs to provide state and federal lobbying services to the government authority located in Ann Arbor, MI.– Provide intelligence and analysis regarding legislative policy changes that may affect the city.– Provide networking and engagement opportunities for the city and other related activities.– Develop and maintain relationships with elected and appointed members of state and federal government, and other governmental partners key to advancing the city’s interests.– Represent and advocate for the city on specific projects, issues, funding opportunities and legislation.– Advising city leadership of important events and opportunities for networking with other government leaders.– Develop, at the direction of the city administrator and in coordination with the city council, a plan identifying the city’s annual policy objectives, regulatory needs, and funding needs that could be achieved through lobbying activity.– Help coordinate and outreach with groups, cities, or influential individuals who have similar interests to the city to create more effective partnerships.– Provide assistance in development and implementation of a government relations plan to support the city’s policy goals.– Provide such other representation and consulting duties as are determined to be in the interests of the city and as communicated by the city administrator as needed.– Coordinate annual legislative and governmental services.(2) All questions must be submitted no later than October 1, 2026.
