Early Procurement Package Rotary-Screw Compressor Water Chiller Walker Complex HVAC and BAS Repairs (SCO ID# 25-29576-02B)

North Carolina Central University (NCCU) is seeking competitive bids from qualified vendors to furnish and deliver one (1) rotary-screw compressor water chiller as an early procurement item for the forthcoming Walker Complex HVAC and BAS Upgrades project. NCCU is Owner-Furnishing this chiller in advance of execution of the project construction contract to ensure the chiller is on-hand in time for the project. The chiller must be delivered to the site not earlier than February 15, 2027 and not later than March 1, 2027. The unit will be Contractor-Installed as part of the future renovation construction (single prime). Specifications for the chiller are attached to this Invitation for Bids (IFB). Delivery date is a critical consideration, and vendors may submit multiple options in their bid. Refer to ATTACHMENT A: PRICING for required criteria for each option. Minor deviations from the technical chiller specifications may be considered in order to improve the delivery date. Vendors are encouraged to submit reasonable options for consideration by the Engineer of Record (EOR). Major deviations from the specifications will not be considered.
