(1) Vendor needs to provide medical consultant services to the government authority located in Newburgh, NY.• Review medical, psychiatric, and health–related records submitted as part of a student's evaluation and offer interpretation relevant to eligibility and programming decisions.• Advise on health–related accommodations, related services, and modifications needed to support a student's access to their educational program.• Provide guidance on medically fragile, chronic health, and complex care students, including students requiring nursing services, 504 accommodations, or individualized health care plans.• Attend meetings as requested by the district, in person or via telehealth, to provide medical perspective on eligibility, present levels of performance, and recommended services.• Respond to district requests for medical input within an agreed–upon turnaround time when in–person attendance is not required.• Assist in interpreting outside medical evaluations, hospital records, or specialist reports presented to the committee.• Review district health and safety protocols as they intersect with special education programming.(2) All question must be submitted no later than September 15, 2026.(3) A contract period will be for one year.
