Blackberry Milgate Warbler MSBU Project

'INSERT SHORT DESCRIPTION OF SOLICITATION. The project consists of the reconstruction and paving of existing County limerock roads. The work in the contract will be performed on roads identified in the construction plans in Hernando County, Florida. The scope of this project includes gopher tortoise conservation permitting, mapping, capturing and relocating to recipient site, roadway excavations, roadway stabilization, placement of new road base, paving, minor shoulder grading, sign relocations, placement of sod, paint striping and thermoplastic striping. The contract also involves adherence to NPDES requirements and silt fence and drainage counter measures that have been provided in the project plan set. Adherence to maintenance of traffic per the applicable FDOT and MUTCD indexes and chapters is also a requirement. If needed, the CONTRACTOR shall provide a yard for parking, maintenance and storage of all equipment at no expense to the County. This area shall be restored to its original condition at the contractor's expense.
