Infill Program Update

The County of Sacramento (“County”), is soliciting proposals for the preparation of the Infill Program Update (Program). Sacramento County Planning and Environmental Review (PER) was awarded a Local Early Action Planning (LEAP) Grant to fund the preparation of the Program. PER is seeking qualified consulting firms (Proposer) to prepare and develop the Program to encourage infill development in the County that will ultimately increase and accelerate the production of housing by identifying and assessing infill sites and removing identified barriers. PER anticipates that the Program is intended to take a comprehensive approach to identifying and assessing infill sites and their barriers to development. These barriers will be addressed by updating existing documents or creating new documents to facilitate their removal, thereby creating a new Program that will focus on increasing and accelerating housing production.
