RFQ #PUARC-803A - HEAVY DUTY EQUIPMENT + AFTERMARKET AUTOMOTIVE PARTS & SUPPLIES

The County of Riverside Purchasing and Fleet Services on behalf of the Transportation and Land Management Agency (TLMA) and Department of Waste Resources (Waste) is soliciting quotations from qualified vendors to provide the purchase and delivery of Heavy-Duty Equipment and Aftermarket Auto parts to support the maintenance and operational requirements of multiple participating agencies. Required items include but are not limited to the following: heavy duty vehicle parts, warranty support and supplies related to heavy duty vehicle maintenance and repair. Each Department performs select maintenance and repair of a wide range of heavy duty and commercial vehicles on an ongoing basis. To ensure operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, safety performance, and minimal downtime, a reliable supply of Heavy Duty and Aftermarket Vehicle parts is required. Multi-Award Agreements The County intends to establish multiple awards as a result of this RFQ. It is anticipated that contracts will be awarded to more than one qualified supplier whose proposal is determined to be responsive, responsible, and most advantageous to the participating Departments. The County reserves the right to: Award contracts to all responsive and responsible Vendors meeting minimum requirements; Make no award for certain items if deemed in the best interest of the participating Departments; Negotiate final terms and pricing with selected suppliers. Award of a contract does not guarantee any minimum purchase volume. Quantities identified in this RFQ are estimates only and are provided for evaluation purposes. Participating Departments reserve the right to purchase more or less than the estimated quantities. Where multiple contracts are awarded, participating agencies may purchase products under the agreement using one of the following methods, as determined by the issuing Department: Direct Selection – Departments may order directly from any awarded Vendor offering the required item at the published contract pricing. Rotational Assignment – Orders may be distributed among awarded Vendors on a rotational basis. Secondary Competition – Departments may conduct a Request for Quote among awarded Vendors for specific large or specialized orders. Best Value Selection – Departments may select the Vendor that provides the best value for a specific requirement, considering factors such as delivery time, location, and product availability.
