(1) Vendor needs to provide sign language interpreter services.– Provide learning access program has been contracting with sign language interpreters for years.– We average one or two students each academic year that are in need of interpreting services.– For courses, each Interpreter will sign for approx. 20 minutes each, but the contractor may be expected to interpret or transliterate independently for some assignments.– The need for these services is based on student enrolment for any given academic term– This need is variable and often uncertain from semester to semester.– Position requirements:– Prepare for interpreting assignments (e.g., learn new vocabulary.).– Establish a cooperative and collegial working relationship with all university consumers (e.g., faculty, staff, and students).– Conduct criminal background checks on all employees.(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than August 17, 2026.(3) The contract period will be for one year.
