GLYCERIN BASED SUPPLEMENTAL CARBON ON-CALL

The Town of Manchester is soliciting proposals from qualified vendors to supply Glycerin Based Supplemental Carbon at a low cost, for use in the Water and Sewer Department, on an as-needed basis. The objective at the conclusion of this selection process is to obtain a pool of one or more suppliers that are pre-qualified by the Town, from which Glycerin Based Supplemental Carbon, meeting the specifications defined below, may be ordered as needed. If multiple suppliers are pre-qualified, when a delivery is needed, the Town will request quotes from each pre-qualified supplier, and a Purchase Order will be placed with the vendor that best meets the needs of the Town at that time. Considerations will include first and foremost cost, as well as delivery time, and availability of specified product. Deliveries shall typically be 4,000-4,500 gallons, with an estimated total of 20,000-30,000 gallons per year. This is an estimate based on past usage only; the Town makes no guarantee of assignments associated with this Request for Proposals.
