Notice of Intent to Sole Source Per Code of Alabama Section 41-16-75 To: All Interested Contractors The City of Montgomery seeks to acquire services to repair & resurface 10 tennis courts at Lagoon Park located in Montgomery, AL from Lower Bros Tennis Courts. The below services are required: *Clean the surface with a high-pressure washer as necessary to remove stains and dirt. *Fill large structural cracks with crack filling compound and low areas which hold water deeper than 1/8 inch with Court Patch patching mix. (Effectiveness of patching will be determined by the existing slope & planarity of the court.) *Install 50’ of a Crack Membrane System over existing structural cracks. *Sand the area with a power sander to remove small imperfections. *Apply Acrylic Resurfacer as needed to reduce the surface porosity and provide a uniform surface. *Apply a new colored acrylic playing surface. Colors to be selected by the owner. *Paint new white tennis playing lines. Sand and repaint existing net posts as needed. Contractors who believe they can that can begin work on 1 June 2026 and finish by 1 August 2026 should submit a capabilities statement by 26 March 26. Responses to this notice will be used to determine whether bona fide competition exists. Responses and/or questions must be submitted via OpenGov by the deadline listed above.
