(1) Vendor needs to provide radio communications improvement project consulting services to the government authority located in Millbury, MA.• Services include project management, system design and specification, procurement support, licensing and frequency coordination, and construction administration for police and fire department radio infrastructure.• New mobile radios, portables, pagers, and control stations for both departments.• New public safety–grade repeater and antenna systems at two tower sites.• Microwave backhaul between the two tower sites.• Confirm the system architecture, frequency plan, and coverage objectives.• Develop detailed technical specifications for all radio equipment (mobiles, portables, pagers, control stations, repeaters, antenna systems, DC power, microwave backhaul).• Attend pre–construction meeting and serve as the town's technical representative throughout construction.• Review submittals from the radio equipment vendor and the site civil contractor.• Conduct site visits at appropriate milestones and report progress to the town.• Witness acceptance testing of all installed equipment.• Review and recommend approval of contractor payment applications.(2) All question must be submitted no later than July 24, 2026.(3) A contract period will be for one year.
