The Wyoming State Construction Department, Procurement Section, on behalf of the Wyoming Department of Health, Wyoming Retirement Center (Procuring Agency), will receive bids until 1:00 p.m. Mountain Time on August 13, 2026, through the Public Purchase online bidding system for the Water Tower Demolition, located at 890 US HWY 20 S in Basin, WY. Project Description: Project Description: This project will consist of demolition of the existing and abandoned 60,000-gallon elevated steel water tower followed by full site reclamation. The contractor will remove the tower, its four-leg support structure, and all associated appurtenances. Because the tower coatings contain hexavalent chromium and lead-based paint, all work must comply with applicable OSHA and hazardous-material handling requirements. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. MT on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, starting at the Wyoming Retirement Center, 890 US HWY 20 S, Basin, WY, 82410. Only bids submitted through the Public Purchase site and on State of Wyoming forms will be considered. It is the bidder’s responsibility to review, through Public Purchase at www.publicpurchase.com for answers to questions, addenda, or bid tabulations. Telephone calls, emails, or faxes may not be accepted. Bidding questions shall be submitted on the Public Purchase website by 3:00 p.m. MT on August 4, 2026. All questions will be answered and provided to all prospective bidders via answers on the Public Purchase website or in the form of a written addendum posted on Public Purchase by 3:00 p.m. MT on August 6, 2026. Questions received after 3:00 p.m. Mountain Time on August 4, 2026, will not be addressed. It is the Contractor's responsibility (not required) to add their company to the Plan Holders and Contractors List. Note: All bids must be signed and uploaded completely through the Public Purchase online bidding system no later than the 1:00 p.m. on the due date indicated in the document. If your submission has not completely uploaded by the 1:00 p.m. deadline, the Public Purchase system will lock and your response will be incomplete and deemed non-responsive and eliminated from the evaluation process. If a bid is greater than $150,000, each bid is required to have a bid deposit in the amount of Ten Percent (10%) of the total bid, which shall be in the form of a bid bond, cashier's check, or certified check (a copy of a check will not be accepted) drawn on a reliable bank and made payable to the State of Wyoming (no personal checks will be accepted), or an electronic bid bond with Surety 2000. ONLY if you are submitting an original 10% bid bond or submitting a 10% cashier check, it MUST be received in the Procurement Office at: Wyoming State Construction Department, Procurement Office, 700 West 21st Street, Cheyenne, Wyoming 82002, by 1:00 p.m. August 13, 2026 . A COPY OF THE 10% CASHIER CHECK WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. If you are using Surety 2000, you will need to upload with your bid response documents a copy of the Surety 2000 document. If you have not yet registered on the Wyoming State Construction Public Purchase website, and are interested in this bid, register immediately to avoid last-minute processing delays.
