(1) Vendor needs to provide insurance broker and consultant services to the government authority located in Phoenix, AZ. – The contract involves analysis, recommendation, marketing, negotiation, and placement of insurance.– Conduct a thorough analysis of current and available insurance coverage including potential design changes, cost impacts, and alignment with growth and budget guidelines. – Perform an industry–wide product review comparing current property and casualty insurance plans and costs with other available options. – Prepare bid specifications, solicit proposals, evaluate bids based on administration, coverage, claims procedures, customer service, and financial soundness, and identify the most cost–effective package. – Provide annual reporting on in–force programs, market conditions, renewal forecasts, contract modifications, claims history, and strategic recommendations including innovative insurance or self–insurance plan designs. – To supplement its in–house risk management staff to enhance practices aimed at mitigating liability claims, employee injuries and property loss.– Methods for educating employees on current risk management trends. – Training and educational resources available for risk management staff. – Expertise in assisting healthcare entities with property, casualty, and workers’ compensation program design and loss control.
