Description
General work description: The County owns and operates an Industrial Water Treatment Plant (IWTP) located within the Bridgeway Acre Landfill. The ITWP was designed with a 2.50 MGD average daily flow design capacity. Since the ITWP was Started up in 2013, the facility has not been able to sustain operations at full design capacity. The Engineer of Record (CDM Smith) was tasked to review the plant performance and determined that a new secondary clarifier is required to accommodate intended average daily flow. This project is to construct a 60-foot diameter clarifier and 30 foot diameter thickener to meet the FDEP's requirements.
