Vendor needs to provide farmer's market and event management services. – Provide contracted operations and management services for community farmer’s market.– Provide a quality venue for these events in a manner that utilizes industry best practices, high standards, and professional conduct to maximize community benefit and enjoyment.• Enforce days and hours of operation and provide adequate staffing• Locate and recruit producers/vendors as stalls are vacated and monitor products sold to provide a select variety of fresh produce, prepared foods, and merchandise to the public• Facilitate stall and facility rental• Collect and record fees and other receivables in a manner consistent with agency policies and procedures• Review and pay all invoices related to market operations• Inspect facility before and after events to ensure the premises are maintained in a safe, clean, and orderly condition• Direct the distribution/arrangement of vehicles on market grounds• Monitor and enforce compliance with market rules for vendors and renters• Collect, maintain, and coordinate all financial activities with the agency’s finance director• Ensure all producers/vendors have valid licenses as required, including, but not limited to sales tax licenses and ensure that local, state, and federal laws are observed• Inspect and verify farm/production facilities comply with market regulations• Produce and place advertisements and other communications for agency–sponsored market activities• Provide facility supervision during events– Contractor will be responsible for the supervision and management of the farmer’s market facilities, its operation, including staffing, for: • Friday (in season) and Saturday farm market• Sunday antiques and collectibles market• Planning, recruitment and production of special events, private rentals, and civic meetings• Voting precinct/polling location• Other uses, as proposed
