Vendor needs to provide water and wastewater consulting services to the government authority located in North Brunswick, NJ. • Review of the private operation firm monthly reports and other correspondence and requestsfor maintenance expenditures or payments for services. • Review of water quality data, regulatory compliance for water quality, disposition of customer service requests, regulatory reporting and production of water and wastewater.• Review of the private firm’s performance relative to their contract with the township, includingstaffing levels, reporting, maintenance and compliance.• Identify important observations, findings, deficiencies or problems relative to the above reviews making recommendations as appropriate.• Interface with regulatory agencies relative to the water and wastewater systems to represent the agency and to augment and monitor the agency’s private operator’s interaction with those agencies.• Identify technical or administrative decisions that may need to be addressed relative to theoperation of the utilities including bulk water contracts.• Advise the agency relative to capital planning, strategic decisions, procurement and oversight of capital improvements for or contract operations of the water and wastewater systems.• Assist in reviewing requests for maintenance services.• Support and cooperate with the agency’s consulting engineers for the utilities in the carrying out of the above services.
