(1) Vendor needs to provide cloud–based water technical access portal (WaterTAP).– Salesforce as a cloud–based SaaS solution (WaterTAP) that will be an enterprise–level application, developed to address current and future information and business needs.– Single, cohesive system to streamline information access for internal staff and external stakeholders. It will also include data and document submission, workflow routing, and compliance decision support – Application Programming Interfaces (APIs): The contractor must design and document all RESTful APIs, ensuring they comply with modern standards for security (e.g., OAuth, JWT), error handling, and data formats (e.g., JSON, XML).– User Interfaces (UIs): The contractor will specify the user interfaces (web, mobile, or desktop applications) that will interact with the backend system, including how the front–end systems will communicate with the APIs.– Database Interfaces: Any interface between WaterTAP and legacy or third–party databases must be clearly defined. This includes schemas, data mapping, and access protocols.– File Import and Export Interfaces: If WaterTAP requires importing or exporting data in bulk, thecontractor must define interfaces for handling file–based data exchange.– Maintain an overarching architecture to connect existing foundational data systems.– Create a streamlined user experience, increase efficiency, and create a single system of record for all drinking water reporting.(2) All questions must be submitted no later than October 22, 2026.(3) The contract period will be for three years.
