Proactive Security Monitoring Services

The City of Santa Monica is seeking proposals for proactive security monitoring services and equipment to support the surveillance of existing and newly installed cameras (installed by the selected vendor) across various City locations, including libraries and parks. Proactive security monitoring focuses on real-time prevention and intervention. Unlike traditional monitoring, which primarily records events, proactive services involve live operators and artificial intelligence that watch video feeds, use analytics to detect suspicious activity, and immediately respond with spoken warnings or escalation to law enforcement to deter incidents as they happen.
