North Transfer Station (NTS) Compactors Replacement

Project Description: This project consists of the following elements of work to occur in an operating solid waste transfer station: Removal and disposal off site of the existing two compactors, hydraulic power units (HPU), and ancillary compactor components; off-loading of Owner furnished compactor equipment upon delivery; assembly and placement of new compactor equipment; electrical site work related to the compactor replacement, HPU room ventilation and lighting improvements; connectivity between SPU network and new control panels; and standby labor during equipment startup, commissioning, and testing of the new compactor equipment by compactor vendor.
