2026-36 CFD Diesel Exhaust Extraction System

PURPOSE AND SCOPE: The City of Charleston, WV (the City) is soliciting quotes for a one-time purchase and installation of fully automatic Diesel Exhaust Extraction Systems, including demolition and disposal of existing exhaust removal equipment, for use by the City’s Charleston Fire Department (CFD). This procurement is funded in whole or in part by a FEMA Assistance to Firefighters Grant (AFG) and is subject to all applicable federal requirements under 2 CFR Part 200 (Uniform Guidance). This is a diesel exhaust extraction system installation involving fully automatic source-capture systems at nine Charleston Fire Department locations. Includes demolition of existing equipment, supply and installation of new hose assemblies, exhaust fans, wireless controls, and tailpipe adapters.
