Vendor needs to provide redevelopment attorney services to the government authority located in Kenilworth, NJ.– Represent the Borough's interests in all legal matters pertaining to redevelopment efforts and redevelopment areas and plans designated or adopted.– Prosecute or defend suits, actions, administrative proceedings, and other matters arising from redevelopment activities.– Supervise and coordinate legal strategy concerning redevelopment and serve as legal advisor to the mayor and council and borough professionals on redevelopment–related matters.– Attend meetings of the mayor and council, planning board, and zoning board of adjustment as directed.– Draft and review redevelopment agreements, financial agreements, contracts, ordinances, resolutions, settlement documents, and other legal instruments.– Coordinate with Borough staff, affordable housing counsel, planners, engineers, financial professionals, and other consultants.
