(1) Vendor needs to provide custodial services to the government authority located in Wailuku, HI. – This duty is unrelated to Hall bookings and is required regardless of whether an event is scheduled.• Unlock and open the gate by 6:00 a.m., Monday through Friday.• Close and lock the gate by 7:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.• Clear the parking lot of vehicles by notifying owners before closure.• Maintain the lock in good working order; upon discovery of a lock malfunction, contact the Maui District Supervisor or agency Contact Person within one (1) hour of discovery.– Custodial Tasks• Sweep and mop floors of interior areas.• Clean baseboards of interior areas.• Clean and sanitize restrooms (toilets, urinals, basins, fixtures, and mirrors).• Clean and sanitize kitchen counters, sinks, fixtures, and under–sink drain, and appliances.• Sweep or blow exterior sidewalks; clean all debris.• Vacuum the sliding door tracks to clear out sand and small rocks so they don’t cause damage.Clean interior/exterior of sliding glass doors, glass windows, entry doors, and aluminum frames.• Wipe down/clean refrigerator, freezer, range, and range hood.• Wipe down doors and door fixtures (kitchen, restrooms).• Clean walls with an appropriate duster or cleaning solution, as needed.• Pre–event, the hall shall be cleaned and available to hall renters no later than the time specified in the confirmed reservation. Cleaning of all cafeteria table tops and seats used during the event.• Post–event: cleaning shall be completed the same day as the event, or before the next scheduled event or weekday activity, whichever is sooner. Cleaning of all cafeteria table tops and seats used during the event, and removal of event debris from grounds and parking areas.• Contractor shall check and restock toilet paper, napkins, and trash liners.(2) The contract period will be for one year.
