Vendor needs to provide non–emergency medical transportation (NEMT) broker services to the government authority located in Michigan.– Establish and administer a comprehensive NEMT program for eligible fee–for–service (FFS) medicaid beneficiaries.– Field beneficiary calls, verify beneficiary eligibility, and schedule the least–costly mode of transportation or other NEMT service that meets the beneficiary’s medical and functional needs, and to assure that timely NEMT services are provided to eligible FFS medicaid beneficiaries.– Recruit and manage a robust network of volunteer drivers ongoing including recruitment, scheduling, monitoring, and mileage reimbursement.– Provide reimbursement for all NEMT services as allowed in policy, including mileage reimbursement for individuals transporting themselves or eligible beneficiary family members, friends and individuals with vested interest.– Collect, analyze, and maintain information on the eligible beneficiary population and their needs, and respond to changes to ensure network adequacy, sufficient supply of all necessary types of vehicles and transportation services necessary for access to medical services.– Ancillary service providers to obtain a service or item medicaid covers.– Facilities providing services medicaid covers that do not charge for care such as including but not limited to veterans administration hospitals.
