Bronson Road Drainage Project

Escambia County Engineering Department developed a drainage project to construct an open ditch along Bronson Road with a combination system of pipe and ditch through the PCC (Pensacola Christian College) property easement (40’ width) to the Trout Bayou. The intent of this project was to reduce stormwater flooding along Bronson Rd. from additional water discharged from Reunion Place subdivision. Since the initial design, there has been additional residential building along Lillian Hwy (SR298) which was not accounted for during the initial design and has impacted the existing pond and ditch.
