(1) Vendor needs to provide jail emergency medical technician staffing services to the government authority located in Boulder, CO.– Providing reliable, appropriately credentialed Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) personnel to support the Jail Division's medical operations on a twenty–four (24) hour per day, seven (7) day per week basis.• Receiving and medical intake screening of individuals entering the facility. • Obtaining medical histories and vital signs. • Recognizing and reporting abnormal findings or changes in condition to the appropriate RN or medical provider. • Assisting RNs and medical providers with patient care and medical procedures as directed. • Performing blood draws, specimen collection, point–of–care testing, and other assigned services when trained and authorized. • Maintaining patient confidentiality and protecting protected health information. • Communicating significant medical findings, concerns, incidents, and changes in condition to appropriate medical staff.
