(1) Vendor needs to provide blind cane tapping training services to the government authority located in West Sacramento, CA.– On–site, Virtual, and/or Phone Orientation and Mobility Assessments/Training Services.– Provide Orientation and Mobility training for the proper use of a blind tappingcane after the initial assessment– Provide Cognitive Skills training that would require an introductory program for incarcerated persons who are newly blind or have experienced a change in vision.– program shall introduce basic skills to live in a home independently that would include: organization skills, time management, and use of adaptive aids. – Cognitive Skills training shall also include training on personal hygiene, food preparation, clothing care, and proper housekeeping.(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than September 15, 2026.
