Vendor needs to provide construction, engineering and inspection services to the government authority located in Cape Coral, FL.1. Project management:– Coordinate schedules and roles with discipline leaders.– Hold internal team meetings as needed to assist with scheduling and management.– Assisting with addressing requests from the city’s finance and audit departments for information associated with billing, including verification of raw rates in comparison to approved bill rates.2. Construction administration:– Make site visits to the construction site at intervals appropriate to the various stages of construction in order to observe the progress and quality of the work.– Develop and process change orders with city’s input and approval as required due to unforeseen conditions.– Review density test results for assurance that passing results are achieved and notify the city and contractors in the event of failures.– Review contractor closeout documentation (to be submitted with each final pay request), to include but not be limited to warranties, release of liens and related documentation as required by the city and funding agencies.3. Construction engineering inspection:– Utilizing a CEI manager to oversee all professional field services.– Utilizing a supervisor who will serve as the direct manager.– Conduct on–site observations of contractor's work in progress to assist CE in determining if the Work is in general proceeding in accordance with the contract documents.4. Verification geotechnical assistance:– Backfill compaction – perform as needed density verification compaction tests at locations and depths to be determined. Tests may be performed for either roadway subgrade and base or pipeline backfill.– Proctors – perform as needed proctor verification tests including soil classification testing (sieve analysis, limits and organic content testing) at locations to be determined.
