(1) Vendor needs to provide golf course architecture consulting services to the government authority located in Toms River, NJ.– Heavy Construction – Earth moving necessary to build/renovate a golf course requires an understanding of heavy equipment, including its capabilities, limitations and costs.– Agronomy – Experience in soils, turf culture & care is critical when specifying and preparing turf areas.– Hydraulic engineering – Knowledge of hydraulics, pumps, piping systems, and reservoirs. The creation of ponds, lagoons, and waterways must be integrated to be strategic, playable, safe, efficient and aesthetically pleasing.– Landscape Architecture – Golf courses designs need to be compatible with the existing terrain and that feature, preserve and enhance the natural landscape.– Civil Engineering – Surveying, aerial photography and topographic data needed to plan the development/renovation of a golf course. A finished project should highlight beauty and strategy while concealing the infrastructure which promotes good conditions from view at the surface.(2) The contract period will be for one year.
