(1) Vendor needs to provide arts and entertainment district management and programming services to the government authority located in Wheaton, MD.– Grant writing and funding opportunities:– Identify relevant grant and funding opportunities.– Evaluate potential applications with each District.– Lead the drafting and submission of grant applications on behalf of the A&E districts.– A&E event support:– Event planning, coordination and logistics to align with A&E goals.– Day–of–event staffing and coordination for events including, but not limited to, concerts, parades, and advisory convenings.– Strategic planning and marketing:– Work collaboratively with County staff to promote the as cultural destinations using traditional and digital marketing (e.g., social media, print, signage) promote the as a destination for art and cultural activities.– Guide each A&E district in advancing their goals and strategic plans which may include collaborating with A&E advisory groups and County staff to refine priorities and respond to emerging community needs.– Assist county staff in planning, design, and activation of public spaces for cultural uses.– Provide assistance in planning, design, and management of public spaces in order to promote arts and entertainment district as necessary.(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than October 23, 2026.(3) The contract period will be for one year.
