Vendor needs to provide data–driven smart agriculture system. – Phase 1: Assessment, audit, scoping, and technical specificationsO Assess the company’s standard agronomic needs, formalise a catalogue of requirements specific to pineapple (management of high planting densities at low altitude) and citrus (tree cultivation), and establish the associated performance indicators.O Infrastructure and feasibility audit: Conduct a comprehensive inventory of IT equipment, network connectivity, and existing mapping data to validate the technical feasibility of the service and prepare a costed upgrade action plan.– Phase 2: Algorithm development, data processing, and design of the GIS architecture and data platformO Develop and train custom algorithms to address standard and specific agronomic needs (identification of deficiencies, automated plant/tree counting, and flowering index).O Generate crop– and climate–specific indices adapted to PromoFruit Benin’s soils and crops.O Decision–support modelling: Design predictive models and decision trees for the producer network, translating geospatial indicators into immediate plant–health alerts (diseases, pests, deficiencies, etc.) and targeted irrigation recommendations.O Develop a change–detection algorithm based on open satellite imagery to monitor vegetation–cover dynamics around plots and generate real–time alerts about deforestation and encroachment risks.– Phase 3: Deployment, data–acquisition campaigns, and testing across the pilot networkO Flight planning and operations: Design, configure, and execute drone flight plans over the selected pilot plots.O Sensor deployment: Operate advanced sensors suited to agronomic needs, combining high–resolution imagery with multispectral sensors to capture radiometric signatures accurately.O Photogrammetric processing: Rigorously process collected images to generate high–precision mapping outputs, including orthomosaics and Digital Surface Models (DSMs).– Phase 4: Capacity building, intensive training, and transfer of full autonomy
