Description

The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to select the most-qualified Consultant to coordinate, facilitate and develop a comprehensive Local Hazardous Mitigation Plan (LHMP) for the City of Bell pursuant to the Disaster Mitigation Act (DMA) of 2000 implementing regulations and guidance as they apply to local governments. The plan will be consistent with the State of California’s Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA)-approved mitigation plan. A (FEMA) approved plan will help identify mitigation actions that will make the City of Bell more resilient in its response to local hazards. The city wishes to obtain consultant services under a Professional Services Agreement. The city will award no more than one contract on a not-to-exceed basis.
