(1) Vendor needs to provide exclusive vending services to the government authority located in Paramount, CA.– To install, operate, service, and maintain food and beverage vending machines at the District’s various school and administrative facilities.– facilities, including but not limited to manufacturer, model, dimensions, powerrequirements, inventory communication software, and debit/credit card capabilities.– Vending sales to students are prohibited during meal service periods unless all itemsmeet Smart Snacks standards and California Competitive Food rules.– Vandalism. Description of vending machine characteristics designed to prevent ordeter vandalism, and statement agreeing to hold the District harmless from all costsand liability related to vandalism of vending machines.– Repairs. Methods to contact the vendor for service to machines to repairmechanical breakdowns and fill empty slots. The vendor must provide service within48 hours of the service call.– Vending Machines may not be removed from the premises of the school districtproperty without written approval from the designated District representative.(2) The contract period will be for one year.
