Laboratory Service for Drinking Water TOC Analysis

This purpose of the proposed contract is for Laboratory Service to perform Total Organic Carbon (TOC) analysis for all public water systems utilizing surface water as their source whether primarily or secondarily. Currently, the Mississippi Public Health Laboratory is unable to perform this required analysis as it is not certified to do so. This analysis would need to be performed on a monthly basis by the surface water systems in the state with the analytical results provided back to the Bureau of Public Water Supply. This analysis is required for all surface water sourced public water systems under the Safe Drinking Water Act.
