South San Francisco Traffic Signal Safety Improvements

General work description: The work consists of constructing one new traffic signal at the intersection of Junipero Serra Blvd and Arroyo Dr, and installing retroreflective backplates at 60 different intersections in the City of South San Francisco. The traffic signal installation work includes furnishing and installing a traffic signal, traffic signal cabinet and controller, furnishing and installing traffic signal equipment, video detection cameras, conduits, conductors, pull boxes, fiber optic cables and equipment, removal of existing street lights, striping, signage, and miscellaneous appurtenant work. Additional required work includes mobilization and demobilization; public posting and notification; traffic regulation and construction area signs; clearing, grubbing, and environmental protection; demobilization; site clean-up and removal of any remaining construction materials or debris, sweeping, removal of any and all traffic regulation and construction area signs; and removal of all environmental protection in South San Francisco, CA.
