Vendor needs to provide lodging tax revenues services to the government authority located in Port Orchard, WA.– Lodging tax revenues are used to support projects which promote tourism and to support tourism–related facilities.– Lodging tax revenues may be used, directly by the County or indirectly through a conventionand visitors bureau or destination marketing organization for:• Tourism marketing.• The marketing and operations of special events and festivals designed to attract tourists.• Supporting the operations and capital expenditures of tourism–related facilities owned or operated by a municipality or a public facilities.• Supporting the operations of tourism–related facilities owned or operated by nonprofit organizations.• Create and support tourism infrastructure that results in long–term benefits to the community.• Establish clear, meaningful, and measurable indicators that support tourism.• Marketing and operations of special events and festivals designed to attract tourists from 50+ miles away and contribute to overnight stays.• Supporting the operations and capital expenditures of tourism–related facilities owned or operated by a municipality or a public facilities district provided these facilities demonstrably support long–term tourism growth and attract visitors from outside the local area.
